DevOps Engineer - Linux (m/f/x) 1537

Join our team as a Linux DevOps Engineer in Böblingen!

We're looking for a motivated and skilled Linux DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Böblingen. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Redhat Linux based software development infrastructure.

For this position, we are looking for applications of candidates who alre already living in Germany, area of Boeblingen or are willing to relocate to Germany.

• Administrate and maintain RHEL-based workstations
• Build custom RPM packages and deployment for R&D and customer environments
• Development of tools using Bash, Python, and Ruby
• Automate installation and configuration tasks using Ansible
• Administrate dedicated Linux based infrastructure
• Solving Linux related issues reported by R&D teams
• Document solutions and operational procedures systematically in Confluence

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Extensive experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux); RHEL certification (e.g., RHCE) is a strong advantage
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals and experience managing KVM/QEMU-based virtualization
• Solid scripting skills in Bash and Python; familiarity with Ruby is a plus
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Hands-on experience migrating Docker containers to Kubernetes
• Good grasp of IP networking, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and related IP services
• Background in Linux security is beneficial
• Diligent in maintaining clear, structured documentation
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to troubleshooting and task ownership
• Comfortable working independently, yet collaborative when solving cross-functional challenges
• Excellent in English, German is a plus
