FPGA Expert (m/f/x) High-Speed Design 1542
For our site in Böblingen, we are looking for an experienced FPGA Expert (m/f/x) to develop and optimize complex designs on AMD/Xilinx platforms. In this full-time position, you will contribute your expertise in high-speed design, timing optimization and system integration within a collaborative engineering environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of complex FPGA designs on AMD/Xilinx devices
- Analysis and optimization of designs for timing closure and performance
- Design, integration, and debugging of high-speed serial transceivers (e.g., GTH/GTY)
- Timing analysis and constraint optimization (XDC)
- Collaboration with hardware and software teams on system integration
- Verification and validation of FPGA designs (simulation and hardware debugging)
Your profile:
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in FPGA development using AMD/Xilinx tools (e.g., Vivado)
- Strong expertise in timing optimization and timing closure strategies
- Solid experience with high-speed serial interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, Aurora, or similar)
- Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog
- Experience with signal integrity and high-speed design is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and a structured working approach
